For Mall Food Court food I was pleasantly surprised, maybe because I wasn't expecting to get much it was easy to be lead into a decent plate lunch experience. Anyway I've been craving Meat Jun and since my non driving friend asked if I would take her to Longs to pick up some prescriptions they had been calling her about and then upstairs so she could go to Panda Express I told her yes but I'm not eating there. Luckily at 11:00 there are half a dozen choices and since I've never eaten at a Yummy Korean BBQ and I really wanted some Meat Jun so this was my choice. Typical Plate lunch Korean sides...:I got three non-descript veggies, Mac salad and one scoop rice (came with two but I won't eat that much rice) and four hefty slices of very tender Meat Jun. Those slices were large, flavorful and cut with your chopsticks tender. My only criticism would be too much egg but I just pulled those pieces off the meat and ate it all. All I wanted was a beer to go with it but Valor isn't open at 11;00 in the AM. The rest of the plate was just average, needed salt and spice but I'll go back for the Meat Jun next time. I may even pick up a pan of dinner.

When you feel a cold coming on or just feeling tired, head on down to get a bowl of Mandoo Soup from Yummy's. The mandoo is just delicious...after eating a filling mandoo, slurp a couple of sips of soup. (Believe me, after all the mandoo is gone, you don't want to leave any yummy thing behind and slurp up every last drop of the soup!) Quick service, availability of food choices, clean food court with ample seating...Yummy's in Pearlridge Food Court (theatre side).

The wife got the BBQ chicken/Kalbi combo and I got the meat jun. All dishes were great. Not top notch but still very delicious. The beef in the meat jun was a bit thin, and the Kalbi could have been marinated a bit longer but again we enjoyed our meals. As for the sides, everything was great except the bean sprouts which were bland. The japchae style noodles were hands down out of this world. Meals were prepared fairly quickly, large portions in both plates, and the price was comparable to most Korean plate lunch restaurants these days. Would definitely go back again.
